Not the day

We thought today would be the day, but it was not to be.
Anne started the day off early with a good dose of Castor oil. Then a second before the midwife showed up for another stretch and sweep (the fourth so far) and then a third.
While she suffered most of the obvious side effects of that wonderful stuff, she did not suffer the one we wanted: labour.
So she is now sleeping beside me still pregnant, and without suffering any major or regular contractions throughout the day.

So if she is still pregnant on Saturday, she will have been pregnant a month longer (four weeks anyway) with this child than she was with Maya. That's crazy.

The child should come soon though. Health-wise, everything is 100% ready to go and looking good. The kid is just chillin' in the uterus "Man, this is nicee, i LIKE it in here." I hope he doesn't dawdle like this when he gets older :)
