Tonight while nursing the three year old at the computer there were some odd noises coming from the basement. After convincing Luke that yes he has to investigate we find a squirrel held up in our basement.
"So is there like a squirrel removal person we can call?"
Long story short neighbour Dennis saved the day....but could anybody help us figure out how the damn thing got in?

we have "house centipeds" in our cottage..which look as big as trianchalas except they have 20 legs and can't hurt you. They live underneath the cottage on the dirt floor, and then come up to the bathroom for water. I will take a picture of one, b/c you won't believe how big they are fullgrown until you see it, so far we've found 2 adults and one teenager.
