
This is our placenta garden. The four feet deep hole was dug with care awhile ago with care and on Saturday we planted the placenta which provided a home for the little fetus for 42 weeks. Kathie said a
lovely blessing which caused tears and then Luke and Maya placed the placenta in the hole and it was filled in. A mom was planted to mark the spot.
Interesting side note- the placenta was put in an
enamel pot I got at a garage sale this summer. As soon as I saw it I knew its purpose. Now I think it will make a nice soup pot.
Nest Summer I will try to grow some herbs there.
